Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that moneys in the State Police DUI Fund and the Secretary of State Police DUI Fund shall be used for enforcement and prevention of driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drug or drugs, intoxicating compound or compounds or any combination thereof, including but not limited to the purchase of law enforcement equipment and commodities that will assist in the prevention of alcohol related criminal violence throughout the State; police officer training and education in areas related to alcohol related crime, including but not limited to DUI training; and police officer salaries, including but not limited to salaries for hire back funding for safety checkpoints, saturation patrols, and liquor store sting operations.

AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5021
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5021 on page 3, by
3replacing lines 16 through 20 with the following:
4"this subsection (f) shall be used for enforcement and
5prevention of driving while under the influence of alcohol,
6other drug or drugs, intoxicating compound or compounds or any
7combination thereof, as defined by Section 11-501 of this Code,
8including but not limited to the purchase of law enforcement
9equipment and commodities that will assist in the prevention of
10alcohol related criminal violence throughout the State; police
11officer training and education in areas related to alcohol
12related crime, including but not limited to DUI training; and
13police officer salaries, including but not limited to salaries
14for hire back funding for safety checkpoints, saturation
15patrols, and liquor store sting operations. to purchase law
16enforcement equipment that will assist in the prevention of
17alcohol related criminal violence throughout the State. This
18shall include, but is not limited to, in-car video cameras,
