AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
adding Section 120 as follows:
(110 ILCS 305/120 new)
Sec. 120. Adjunct professor; notice of canceled class. At
least 60 days before the start of a term, the Board of Trustees
must notify an adjunct professor about whether a class he or
she was hired to teach has been canceled.
Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
Act is amended by adding Section 100 as follows:

Sec. 100. Adjunct professor; notice of canceled class. At
least 60 days before the start of a term, the Board must notify
an adjunct professor about whether a class he or she was hired
to teach has been canceled.
Section 15. The Chicago State University Law is amended by
adding Section 5-210 as follows:
