1 | AN ACT concerning criminal law.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act is | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

7 | Sec. 1. Use prohibited. No person shall ingest, breathe, | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | inhale or
drink any compound, liquid, or
chemical containing | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | toluol, hexane, trichloroethylene, acetone, toluene,
ethyl | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, trichloroethane,
isopropanol, | |||||||||||||||||||
11 | methyl isobutyl ketone, methyl cellosolve acetate, | |||||||||||||||||||
12 | cyclohexanone,
the
the alkaloids atropine, hyoscyamine, or | |||||||||||||||||||
13 | scopolamine, or any other substance
for the purpose of | |||||||||||||||||||
14 | inducing a condition of intoxication,
stupefaction, | |||||||||||||||||||
15 | depression, giddiness, paralysis or irrational behavior, or in
| |||||||||||||||||||
16 | any manner changing, distorting or disturbing the auditory, | |||||||||||||||||||
17 | visual or mental
processes. For the purposes of this Act, any | |||||||||||||||||||
18 | such condition so induced shall be
deemed to be an intoxicated | |||||||||||||||||||
