2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
5Section 16-119.5 as follows:
6 (220 ILCS 5/16-119.5 new)
7 Sec. 16-119.5. An electric utility or an alternative retail
8electric supplier customer's invoices. An electric utility or
9an alternative retail electric supplier shall display the last
10day of the term of service on the customer's periodic billing
11statement when a term of service is established through a
12contract.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
