Bill Text: IL HB3640 | 2019-2020 | 101st General Assembly | Introduced
Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act. Deletes language from the definition of "sexual orientation" concerning gender identity. Makes conforming changes. Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Includes gender identity (rather than just gender) within the definition of a hate crime. Effective immediately.
