AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
29-30 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/29-30 new)
Sec. 29-30. School bus stop policy; sex offender. A school
board shall develop and implement a policy for notifying the
parent of each student of any school bus stop located within
500 feet of the residence of a person required to register
under the Sex Offender Registration Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2015.
