Bill Title: Amends the Payday Loan Reform Act. Provides that notwithstanding any other provision of law, a violation of any provision of Section 670 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007, Public Law 109-364, or any regulation adopted pursuant thereto shall be deemed to be a violation of the Payday Loan Reform Act. Strikes language regarding limiting collection efforts of payday loan lenders against consumers who are members of the military.

AN ACT concerning business.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Payday Loan Reform Act is amended by adding
Section 2-51 as follows:
(815 ILCS 122/2-51 new)
Sec. 2-51. Violation of Federal law constitutes a violation
of this Act with respect to practices concerning members of the
military and their dependents. Notwithstanding any other
provision of law, a violation of any provision of Section 670
of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for
Fiscal Year 2007, Public Law 109-364, or any regulation adopted
pursuant thereto shall be deemed to be a violation of this Act.
