Bill Title: Amends the Illinois TRUST Act. Provides that if any official of the State is notified that a person is arrested, detained, incarcerated, removed, or deported in connection with a federal immigration proceeding who is a parent, legal guardian, legal custodian, or primary caretaker of a child, notice is required by federal, State, or local authorities to give reasonable notice that care and supervision of the child will be interrupted or cannot be provided.

Amends the Illinois TRUST Act. AN ACT concerning government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois TRUST Act is amended by adding
Section 17 as follows:
(5 ILCS 805/17 new)
Sec. 17. Immigration proceeding, childcare. If any
official of this State is notified that a person is arrested,
detained, incarcerated, removed, or deported in connection
with a federal immigration proceeding who is a parent, legal
guardian, legal custodian, or primary caretaker of a child,
notice is required by federal, State, or local authorities to
give reasonable notice that care and supervision of the child
will be interrupted or cannot be provided.
