AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing
Agency Licensing Act is amended by changing Section 2.05 as
follows:

Sec. 2.05. "Home health services" means services provided
to a person at his residence according to a plan of treatment
for illness or infirmity prescribed by a physician licensed to
practice medicine in all its branches, a physician assistant
who has been delegated the authority to prescribe home health
services by his or her supervising physician, or an advanced
practice nurse who has a written collaborative agreement with a
collaborating physician that delegates the authority to
prescribe home health services. Such services include part time
and intermittent nursing services and other therapeutic
services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy,
speech therapy, medical social services, or services provided
by a home health aide.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
