Bill Title: Creates the Feminine Hygiene Products For The Homeless Act. 1 | AN ACT concerning homeless shelters.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the | ||||||
5 | Feminine Hygiene Products For The Homeless Act.

6 | Section 5. Access to feminine hygiene products. Feminine | ||||||
7 | hygiene products, including, but not limited to, sanitary | ||||||
8 | napkins, tampons, and panty liners, shall be available free of | ||||||
9 | charge at all homeless shelters that provide temporary housing | ||||||
10 | assistance to women or youth. As used in this Act, "homeless | ||||||
11 | shelter" means a supervised publicly or privately operated | ||||||
12 | shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations to | ||||||
13 | individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate residence.
