Bill Title: Creates the Feminine Hygiene Products For The Homeless Act. | 1 | AN ACT concerning homeless shelters.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the | ||||||
| 5 | Feminine Hygiene Products For The Homeless Act.
| ||||||
| 6 | Section 5. Access to feminine hygiene products. Feminine | ||||||
| 7 | hygiene products, including, but not limited to, sanitary | ||||||
| 8 | napkins, tampons, and panty liners, shall be available free of | ||||||
| 9 | charge at all homeless shelters that provide temporary housing | ||||||
| 10 | assistance to women or youth. As used in this Act, "homeless | ||||||
| 11 | shelter" means a supervised publicly or privately operated | ||||||
| 12 | shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations to | ||||||
| 13 | individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate residence.
