1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5changing Section 1-105 as follows:
6 (735 ILCS 5/1-105) (from Ch. 110, par. 1-105)
7 Sec. 1-105. Enforcement of Act and rules. The The Supreme
8Court may provide by rule for the orderly and expeditious
9administration and enforcement of this Act and of the rules,
10including the striking of pleadings, the dismissal of claims,
11the entry of defaults, the assessment of costs, the assessment
12against an offending party of the reasonable expenses,
13including attorney's fees, which any violation causes another
14party to incur, or other action that may be appropriate.
