Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that an individual or group policy of accident and health insurance or managed care plan that is amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act shall provide coverage for medically necessary comprehensive cancer testing and testing of blood or constitutional tissue for cancer predisposition testing as determined by a physician licensed to practice medicine in all of its branches. Provides that the coverage shall be provided without any prior authorization requirements. Defines terms. Makes a corresponding change in the Health Maintenance Organization Act.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5changing Section 1 as follows:

7 Sec. 1. Short title. This Act shall be known and and may be
8cited as the Illinois Insurance Code.
