AN ACT concerning safety.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by
adding Section 22.62 as follows:
(415 ILCS 5/22.62 new)
Sec. 22.62. Railroad ties. Notwithstanding any other
provision of law, retired creosote-treated railroad ties may
be ground or burned for use as a non-waste fuel option.
