Bill Title: Amends the Child Labor Law. Provides that a parent of a home-schooled student under the age of 16 shall be authorized to issue an employment certificate for his or her child for any occupation other than specified occupations in which no minor under the age of 16 may be employed.

1 | AN ACT concerning employment.
| |||||||||||||||||||
2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| |||||||||||||||||||
4 | Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | changing Section 15 as follows:
| |||||||||||||||||||

7 | Sec. 15.
The
The Commission shall report in writing to the | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | Governor on
the 30th day of June, annually, the details and | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | results of its
administration of this Act, and may prepare and | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | issue such special
bulletins and reports from time to time as | |||||||||||||||||||
11 | may seem advisable.
The annual report shall include, but need | |||||||||||||||||||
12 | not be limited to, the following: | |||||||||||||||||||
13 | (a) Information as to the type of insurance coverage | |||||||||||||||||||
14 | elected by various
employers in this State;

15 | (b) A summary of the information received in reports filed | |||||||||||||||||||
16 | by employers
pursuant to Section 6(b) such as the average | |||||||||||||||||||
17 | weekly wage of injured workers,
the number of injuries and | |||||||||||||||||||
18 | diseases; average benefit levels; average duration
of | |||||||||||||||||||
19 | disability, when available; the average payment for hospital | |||||||||||||||||||
20 | and medical
care; average funeral benefit in death cases; | |||||||||||||||||||
21 | average benefit payment broken
down by type of benefit; and | |||||||||||||||||||
22 | case disposition; and

23 | (c) Such other information about the Commission's |
