1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Probate Act of 1975 is amended by changing
5Section 27-2 as follows:
6 (755 ILCS 5/27-2) (from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 27-2)
7 Sec. 27-2. Attorney's fees.)
8 (a) The The attorney for a representative is entitled to
9reasonable compensation for his services.
10 (b) An attorney who withdraws from representing a
11representative must file a petition for fees and costs within
1230 days after the withdrawal is approved by the court. If
13within 30 days after the court approves the withdrawal of an
14attorney from representing a representative, a motion is filed
15for an extension of time for the filing of a petition for fees
16and costs, the court may grant additional time for the filing
17of that petition.
