1 AN ACT concerning local government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
5 changing Section 1-1-2.1 as follows:
6 (65 ILCS 5/1-1-2.1) (from Ch. 24, par. 1-1-2.1)
7 Sec. 1-1-2.1. The The president of a village or
8 incorporated town may be referred to as mayor or president of
9 such village or incorporated town.
