| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1069 on page 1, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 17 through 23 with the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "The Director shall develop a process for waiver | ||||||
| 5 | applications for those officers whose prior training

| 6 | experience as homicide investigators may qualify them for a

| 7 | waiver. The Director may issue a waiver at his or her | ||||||
| 8 | discretion, based
solely on the prior training and experience | ||||||
| 9 | of an officer as a
homicide investigator.".
