Bill Title: Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act. Repeals provisions requiring each telephone company to file a report (in every even numbered year) with the Illinois Commerce Commission and the General Assembly regarding the telephone company's implementation of a planned emergency telephone system and its projected further implementation of the plan. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
(50 ILCS 750/13 rep.)
Section 5. The Emergency Telephone System Act is amended by
repealing Section 13.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
