| 1 | AN ACT concerning State government.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | adding Section 190 as follows:
| ||||||
| 6 | (5 ILCS 490/190 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 190. Family Caregivers Month. The month of November in | ||||||
| 8 | each year is designated as Family Caregivers Month to be | ||||||
| 9 | observed throughout the State as a month to recognize the | ||||||
| 10 | sacrifice made by family caregivers and the assistance they | ||||||
| 11 | provide to help people who are affected by illness, injury, or | ||||||
| 12 | disability lead more independent lives.
