AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Silent Reflection and Student Prayer Act is
amended by changing the title of the Act and Section 0.01 as
follows:
(105 ILCS 20/Act title)
An Act concerning education to authorize the observance of
a brief period of silence in public school classrooms at the
opening of each school day.

Sec. 0.01. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Silent
Reflection and Student Prayer Act.

Section 10. The Silent Reflection and Student Prayer Act is
amended by repealing Section 1.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
