2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5adding Section 155.47 as follows:
6 (215 ILCS 5/155.47 new)
7 Sec. 155.47. First-party claimant reimbursement. A
8first-party claimant who has had a property and casualty claim
9denied in whole or in part and has obtained a payment in excess
