Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that, in response to all applications for a policy of automobile insurance received by an insurance company, the insurance company or its agent shall provide the applicant information regarding the availability of coverage for loss of use of an insured vehicle as a result of a cause of loss covered by the policy contract. Provides that, at least 30 days prior to each renewal of a policy of automobile insurance, the insurance company or its agent shall provide the insured information regarding the availability of coverage for loss of use of an insured vehicle as a result of a cause of loss covered by the policy contract. Effective July 1, 2027.
