Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that the corporate authorities of a municipality may fix, charge, and collect fees not exceeding the reasonable cost of the service for all emergency services rendered by the municipality against persons, businesses, and other entities who are not residents of the municipality. Specifies that the fee shall be computed at a rate not to exceed $250 per hour per vehicle and not to exceed $70 per hour per firefighter responding to a call for emergency assistance. Provides that those amounts shall be adjusted annually to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index during the previous 12-month period. Effective immediately.
