Bill Title: Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act. Provides that a public safety agency, public agency, qualified governmental entity, or Emergency Telephone System Board may seek reimbursement from the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) for installation of an additional trunk line due to an employee or designee of a public safety agency being required to physically transfer 9-1-1 calls at the private branch exchange due to a failure by a system provider's trunk line 3 or more times within a 12-month period. Provides that repair and monthly trunk line fees will also be reimbursed by the ICC. Provides that the ICC shall not provide reimbursement for more than one additional trunk line and related repairs and fees. Effective immediately.
