Bill Title: Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Provides that the salary or cost of living adjustment of members of the General Assembly may be increased by a joint resolution adopted by two-thirds of the members elected to each house of the General Assembly. Requires that the joint resolution must also be approved by a majority of the electors voting on the question at the next general election following the adoption of the joint resolution. Effective upon being declared adopted.
