Bill Title: Amends the Peace Officer and Probation Officer Firearm Training Act. Provides that for an employer who is unable or unwilling to make an annual certification under the Act, the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board shall make the certification for an otherwise qualified retired law enforcement officer. Makes changes to the definition to "peace officer" concerning qualified retired law enforcement officers. Effective immediately.
