Bill Title: Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that a local electric utility shall send notice, separate and apart from any other communication, to a customer listed as net metering in the electric utility's billing system if the customer's electricity provider changes. Provides that the notice shall remind customers to ensure that the customer's eligible system is registered with their current electricity provider and receiving credits for net metering.
