Bill Title: Amends the School Code. With respect to the suspension of a pupil in school districts other than the Chicago school district, provides that the report of a suspension to the parents or guardian shall be by certified mail, return receipt requested, and the suspension shall take place only after receipt by the parents or guardian. With respect to the Chicago school district, provides that suspension of a pupil shall take place only after the parents or guardian of the pupil have received notice of the suspension by certified mail, return receipt requested.
