Bill Title: Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Allows a teacher to establish service credit for service in an amount not greater than 5 years for employment by the New York School for the Deaf if such employment occurred before January 1, 1975. Requires payment of employee and employer contributions, plus interest.
