Bill Title: Amends the School Code. Requires school boards to develop a policy for determining the classroom placement of children from the same family in the same grade at school. Requires the policy to state that determining placement of children of the same grade from the same family shall be handled on a case-by-case basis by the school, and the school shall involve both teachers and parents or legal guardians in the determination of class placement. Requires the policy to make the parent's or legal guardian's preference on placement a determinative factor. Effective immediately.
