Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Police Training Act. Provides that the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board shall conduct or approve a required (rather than optional) advanced training program for law enforcement officers to recognize and respond to anaphylaxis, including the administration of an epinephrine auto-injector. Provides that a local law enforcement agency shall authorize (rather than may authorize) a law enforcement officer who has completed the required advanced training regarding anaphylaxis and the administration of an epinephrine auto-injector to carry, administer, or assist with the administration of epinephrine auto-injectors provided by the local law enforcement agency whenever the officer is performing official duties. Allows rulemaking by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board to implement the amendatory Act.
