Honors the families of these fallen service members as White Star Families, expressing our deepest gratitude and respect for the unique sacrifices they have endured and affirms that they remain a valued and integral part of the military family. Encourages all citizens, organizations, and communities across Illinois to listen without judgment, offer compassion, support White Star Families, and assist in connecting veterans and their families with vital mental health resources.
