Bill Title: Amends various Acts by replacing the terms "day care", "daycare", and "day-care", in relation to the care of a child, with the term "child care". Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Makes changes in provisions concerning the definitions of "day care center", "part day child care facility", and "day care agency"; the prohibition of unlicensed practice; criminal background investigations; and advertisements. Repeals provisions concerning an exemption from licensure for day care homes and group day care homes serving children of military personnel and a child from a foreign state or country. Effective July 1, 2026.
