Bill Title: Amends the Cook County Forest Preserve District Act. Provides that the commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County shall be elected from 3 specified election districts. Provides the election procedures and terms of office for the 9 commissioners. Provides that the president, with the advice and consent of the board of commissioners, must appoint a general superintendent. Provides that the general superintendent is the chief administrative officer of the district. Amends the Election Code. Provides that, at the general election in the appropriate even-numbered years, the offices of commissioner of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County shall be filled. Contains other provisions. Effective immediately.
