Bill Title: Amends the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Requires each family receiving benefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program to be interviewed in person or communicated with at least once in each subsequent 6-month period (rather than once in each 12-month period) to ascertain that the family still lives in the State and other matters. Provides that a family shall no longer be eligible for TANF benefits if the Department of Human Services determines during a home visit or interview that the family no longer resides in the State.
