Bill Title: Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to provide coverage for applied behavior analysis and other social therapies for children with autism who otherwise qualify for medical assistance. Requires the Department to establish, by rule, treatment criteria and reimbursement methodologies for the covered services. Effective immediately.
