Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Creates a deduction in an amount equal to the difference between (i) the amount paid by the taxpayer in property taxes during the taxable year and (ii) $10,000, but not to exceed $5,000 per taxpayer in any taxable year. Effective immediately.
