Bill Title: Amends the Humane Care for Animals Act. Provides that, upon receipt of a petition for forfeiture prior to trial seeking the permanent forfeiture of a seized companion animal, the court shall set a hearing on the petition. Further provides that the permanent forfeiture of the companion animals seized shall be conducted within 14 days after the filing of the petition, or as soon as practicable, but not more than 45 days after the filing of the petition.
