Bill Title: Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Provides that the 500 week limit on compensation includes weeks paid for certain prior injuries. Eliminates certain rebuttable presumptions applicable to emergency personnel. Reduces compensation for injuries to specific parts of the body. Requires Commission decisions to be based upon the guidelines provided in the most current edition of the American Medical Association guidelines. In fee schedule requirements, changes limits to apply to maximum amount billed rather than maximum allowable payments. Effective immediately.
