Bill Title: Amends the Department of State Police Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the amendatory Act shall constitute an irrevocable continuing appropriation of all amounts necessary for the implementation the Department of State Police's Division of Forensic Services and the irrevocable and continuing authority for the Department and the State Treasurer to make the necessary transfers for that purpose. Provides that the amendatory Act may be referred to as the PROTECT (Process Rape Or Trauma Evidence Completely and Timely) Act. Effective immediately.
