Bill Title: Amends the Motor Fuel Tax Law. Provides that, beginning on July 1, 2017, the rate of tax imposed in the Act shall be 29 cents per gallon (currently, 19 cents per gallon), plus an additional 2 1/2 cents per gallon for diesel fuel. Provides that, of the additional 10 cents per gallon, 6 cents per gallon shall be deposited into the Road Fund and 4 cents per gallon shall be distributed to municipalities, counties, and road districts.
