Bill Title: Amends the Property Tax Code. Creates a special alternate valuation for wind and solar energy devices. Provides that, when a wind or solar energy device that is primarily for the production and distribution of energy for on-site use is installed on any property, the owner of that property may elect to claim an alternate valuation of the property calculated by deducting from the appraised value of the property the amount of the appraised value that arises from the installation or construction of the wind or solar energy device. Effective immediately.
