Bill Title: Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Provides that if the offense for which bail has been set is not a violent crime as defined in the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act, the sum of money required to be deposited with the clerk of the court may, in the discretion of the court, be an amount less than 10% of the bail (rather than 10% of the bail).
