Summary

Amends the Township Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that the township board or corporate authorities of a municipality that borders an airport with at least 500,000 combined aircraft departures and landings per year may, by ordinance, regulate airspace over the township or municipality. Defines "airspace" to mean an altitude up to 1,000 feet above the highest obstacle on the surface of the township or municipality.
