Summary

Amends the Pharmacy Practice Act. Provides that, before mailing or shipping a prescription medication to a patient's residence, a pharmacy or nonresident pharmacy must telephone the patient, informing the patient of the type of prescription medication and its purpose and giving the patient the option to cancel delivery of the prescription medication. Effective immediately.
