AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2811
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2811 by replacing
line 23 on page 13 through line 6 on page 14 with the
following:
"(24) Procurements that are necessary for increasing
the recruitment and retention of State employees,
particularly minority candidates for employment,
including:
(A) procurements related to registration fees for
job fairs and other outreach and recruitment events;
(B) production of recruitment materials; and
(C) other services related to recruitment and
retention of State employees.
The exemption under this paragraph (24) applies only
if the State agency has made a good faith determination
that it is necessary and appropriate for the expenditure
to fall within this paragraph (24). The procurement
process under this item (24) shall be conducted in a
