AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1285
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1285 on page 4,
line 20, by deleting "3,"; and
on page 4, line 21, after "10,", by inserting "11, 11a, 12,";
and
on page 13, by replacing lines 19 and 20 with the following:
"(20 ILCS 2505/2505-650). Except as provided in subsections (c)
and , (e), (f), (g), and (h) of this Section, money collected";
and
on page 23, line 19, after "2015," by inserting "each month";
and
on page 23, line 20, by replacing "transfer" with "certify to
the State Comptroller and the State Treasurer"; and

on page 24, immediately below line 1, by inserting the
following:
"Upon receipt of the certification, the State Comptroller
shall order transferred and the State Treasurer shall transfer
those amounts from the General Revenue Fund to the Fund for the
Advancement of Education."; and
on page 24, line 7, after "2015," by inserting "each month";
and
on page 24, line 8, by replacing "transfer" with "certify to
the State Comptroller and the State Treasurer"; and
on page 24, immediately below line 15, by inserting the
following:
"Upon receipt of the certification, the State Comptroller
shall order transferred and the State Treasurer shall transfer
those amounts from the General Revenue Fund to the Commitment
to Human Services Fund."; and
by replacing everything from line 20 on page 24 through line 5
on page 25 with the following:
"(h) Transfers Deposits into the Tax Compliance and
Administration Fund. Beginning on the first day of the first
calendar month to occur on or after August 26, 2014 (the
effective date of Public Act 98-1098), each month the

Department shall certify to the State Comptroller and the State
Treasurer pay into the Tax Compliance and Administration Fund,
to be used, subject to appropriation, to fund additional
auditors and compliance personnel at the Department, an amount
equal to 1/12 of 5% of the cash receipts collected during the
preceding fiscal year by the Audit Bureau of the Department
from the tax imposed by subsections (a), (b), (c), and (d) of
Section 201 of this Act, net of deposits into the Income Tax
Refund Fund made from those cash receipts. Upon receipt of the
certification, the State Comptroller shall order transferred
and the State Treasurer shall transfer those amounts from the
General Revenue Fund to the Tax Compliance and Administration
Fund. Those moneys shall be used, subject to appropriation, to
fund additional auditors and compliance personnel at the
Department."; and
on page 498, line 10, by deleting "3,"; and
on page 498, line 11, after "10,", by inserting "11, 11a, 12,".
