AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 486
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 486 by replacing
everything from line 23 on page 5 through line 3 on page 6 with
the following:
"(35 ILCS 200/10-730 new)
Sec. 10-730. Exempt properties. The provisions of this
Division do not apply to a commercial solar energy system that
is located on any parcel that is exempt from taxation under
this Code."; and
on page 7, by replacing lines 2 through 7 with the following:
"energy system is constructed. Upon receiving a copy of the
survey and an agreed acknowledgement to the separate parcel
identification number by the owner of the land upon which the
ground installed commercial solar energy system is
constructed, the chief county assessment officer shall issue a
separate parcel identification for the real property
