AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4822
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4822, on page 1,
line 8, after "government", by inserting "or county officers";
and
on page 1, immediately below line 20, by inserting the
following:
"Section 7. Applicability.
(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, any
electronic notifications authorized by statute shall continue
to be authorized and the General Assembly by law may authorize
other electronic notifications.
(b) This Act does not apply to a school district."; and
on page 2, lines 7, 9, and 24, after "government" each time it
appears, by inserting "or county officer"; and

on page 3, lines 19 and 20, by replacing "A unit of local
government" with "Units of local government and county
officers"; and
on page 4, lines 1, 19, and 21, after "government" each time it
appears, by inserting "or county officer"; and
on page 4, line 23, by replacing "it" with "the unit of local
government or county officer"; and
on page 5, by deleting lines 2 through 7; and
on page 5, lines 9, 13, and 14, after "government" each time it
appears, by inserting "or county officer"; and
by deleting line 17 on page 5 through line 11 on page 24.
